A Successful Success Story     ……..Hats off to the organizers

             The 16th National Convention held at Thiruvananthapuram on 2nd , 3rd & 4th August 2009 was a grand success as was the concept of “Festival of Unity”. The convention, attended by more than 800 representatives of the Association from throughout the country, was addressed by  organizational, National and International leaders. While the Leaders of Group “D” Akashvani Karmachari Sangh, Programme Staff Association of AIR&DD and CCW Employees Union were from within AIR&DD, Sh. K.K.N.Kutty, Secretary General, Confederation of Central Government Employees & Workers addressed on behalf of Central Government employees and extended warm welcome to the members of ARTEE to the Confederation. Sh.Philip Bowyer, Deputy General Secretary, Union Network International – UNI Global Union attended the National Convention for all three days and observed the proceedings. He  extended solidarity from the global workers to the activities of ARTEE. Sh. Thomas John, General Secretary, UNI_ILC and President, National Federation of Telecom Organizations (FNTO) declared to support ARTEE from both the organizations. National Convention proved to be a true “Festival of Unity”.

             The entire credit of this marvelous employees’ unity movement in the God’s own country goes to the organizers of the 16th National Convention for their tireless efforts for the last three to four months. We, the Central Office of ARTEE sincerely appreciate the volunteers under the leadership of Sh.Boban George, (Chairman) & Sh. J.Anilkumar (General Convener) in making  the National Convention a memorable event for the workers community. Our Hats Off to all of them.
